All list marketing advisors receive initial and on the job training. The primary job of the list marketing advisor is to acquire and manage new account in target markets. List marketing advisors place phone calls to business prospects to generate interest, respond to online inquiries and manage existing customer opportunities. The marketing advisor is responsible for analyzing customer needs, making product recommendations, compiling quotes and converting the account.
Inside sales experience is a plus but not required. List marketing advisors must learn quickly, effectively communicate with potential clients and exhibit professional integrity at all times. Candidates must be willing to engage in direct sales and work with management to achieve personal and company objectives. Knowledge of basic PC skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and professional environment is a must. Written and oral communications skills are a must.
